Wow, everybody sounds like they're having a great time. Well, I am too. We are focusing a lot on finding people through the members. We had 8 non-members at Church yesterday because of them. It was awesome... of course the gospel principles lesson was on exaltation which put our teacher in a tough spot to be able to teach it without it sounding that we have super weird beliefs. haha. I also sang in the Christmas program. I hadn't attended any of the practices because they were while I was still in Church at the other ward. It was good though because the Ward Mission Leader is the Choir director so he let me sing anyways. I went to the rehearsal before Church, figured out my part and I sang pretty decently. I think I made a good contribution to the choir. I only messed up maybe twice because I wasn't super familiar with the music and how the parts sounded together. The choir quality was good but not as good as Dad's choir or the stake choir. Dad has the benefit (and curse) of having not very many people so each person has time to stop and practice their part alone during choir practice. Anyway, it was fun. One piece was a medly of Christmas songs with a very dramatic ending which sounded awesome. The other was a little lower-key, but very nice. It felt good to sing in a choir again. I miss it and I can definitely tell that my voice quality isn't what it used to be since I don't sing as much... but I can still hit the notes. :)
I'm excited to be able to call home. I don't know when I will call home. We have a zone party in the morning, then we are going to a members house around noon and then we are going to dinner.... whenever. I might just call during the zone party. Nobody will care. It might be in the middle of opening presents in WA though. We'll see though. I will probably call in the morning.
I have some pictures with Santa from our ward christmas party. Does Wal Mart have a high resolution scanner so I can scan it and print out some for the family? Who knows. I'll check today.
Well that is about it. I love you all and I hope everybody has a great Christmas. Remember to read the Christmas story in the Bible!!! This months Ensign has a couple other scriptures that you can include in your scripture study that tell about Jesus' birth. I love you!
