Another week gone by in the GT and CP wards. I'm starting to feel the transfer itch. I need a new scene to work some magic. New stage. Clean slate. 6 months is a long time to be in one area. Some eventful things happened this week. Our car got taken away on Tuesday because some other missionaries needed it. Perfect timing; right at the beginning of summer. It's going to be interesting. In other news, we went to a family's house that we are teaching and witnessed/caused a big fight between the wife and the husband. The wife asked us why we didn't call before we came (which we usually don't and it's been ok until now) and we said that we just stopped by to say Hi. She then started cussing out her husband for letting us in when it was "a bad time for everybody". We tried to apologize and Samson walked us out and his wife shut the door on us and locked both us and her husband out. Not a good situation.Jack hasn't called us back even though he was able to eventually talk to the bishop... on the phone. I don't know if he ever got an appt. scheduled with him. This might be the end of good old Jack Jack. We have called him a couple of times and he hasn't returned our calls. Seems kind of hypocritical to me.One of our less-active members that we have been working with is getting the Priesthood soon. I am so excited for him and his family. I love them so much. They are one of my favorites. The Wadkins.Met with Colby and Brittanny and Gunner this week. Gunner is so cute. We didn't even talk about lessons. We just talked the whole time about him.I wasn't able to call anybody else yesterday so I'm sorry. It was good to talk to Mom and Dad though. I love all of you. I hope that Todd and Natalie and crew are tearing it up in Disney World. I love all of you.-Elder BlakemorePS the church is true and the book is blue. BLUE! ;)
May 17:
I don't have much time today to write. I've been putting pictures and music onto my new handy-dandy external hard-drive. Yes, I decided to buy one and now I'm using it. Emily, if you haven't deleted the pictures on my memory card, then don't. If you have, then whatever. In other news, I flipped over the handlebars on my bike. It was a very weird experience. I braked too hard and just flipped. I landed on my side with my hands outstretched in front of me. I bruised my leg where i landed on the phone and my hand where i landed on it, but other than that I was completely fine. I broke my watch. I felt like I had been protected during the crash. The gears on my bike are all jacked up again. So I need to go to the bike shop again. My companion had a pretty good laugh at me afterwards. I guess it looked like I hit an invisible wall and flipped over the handlebars and then somehow flipped my bike over me. I just looked up and saw my bike skid upside down then flip to a halt ahead of me. it was pretty fun. I didn't even bleed. I was just really sore the next day.Other than that, not much to update. I love all of you. I'll have more time next time.-Elder Blakemore
