6/14/10:
This week has been pretty good. We set a guy with a baptism date for next Sunday. We still have a few things to get done before he can be dunked, so hopefully we'll be able to make it happen next Sunday. In other news, one of our investigators decided that they didn't like me before they even met me. Ah Mu was afraid of that happening, but what we didn't expect is that they would make up stories and tell our Ward Mission Leader that I was being super disrespectful at their house. If they don't want to hear the gospel, then we won't go over there any more.
It is starting to get "hot" here too. We are in the 80s now. It was in the high 80s all through May so I'm pretty much used to it. Plus we have an air-conditioned car, so that's nice.
The keyboard that I'm using keeps on messing up. It either says I pressed a key twice or not at all. It's annoying.
Today we are going to the skatepark with some kids from the ward. I don't know what I'm going to do, but I'm sure it will be cool. There is a huge mountain right next to our area with a weather station at the top. Hopefully we'll be able to go up there sometime soon.
Ah Mu and I went over the railroad tracks the other day and saw a train coming so we pulled over and stood really close. The kid that was with us took a picture. I'll attach it. It was pretty cool. Yes and that is me riding a tricycle.
My area in Sparks had a monster hill that we had to ride up every day. I got to the point that I could get up without stopping. It was really hard though.
Well, that is about it for me today. I hope everybody has a great week. I love you all.
