So here I am writing for the first time in like 3 weeks or something. We have been pretty busy the past few weeks on P-day and also the members that we usually email at put accounts on their computers for all of their kids (they have 6) with time limits and passwords. They havent made an account for us yet. :( We still hang out there for P-days though. But right now I'm in Winnemucca with a greenie named Elder Asay. Both of our companions got transferred and we are waiting for our companions to get here on Tuesday. Yes I'm getting a new companion and his name is Elder Lane. He came out with Elder Ah Mu and Ah Mu says that he is pretty cool and he thinks that he will work hard. Hopefully. Lately we have been kinda lazy and so I'm looking forward to Elder Lane giving me a little bit of a boost to get me back on track. I'm confident that this lazy nonsense won't last long. It makes me feel more guilty than breaking rules. We got a new investigator last week. We gave him a Book of Mormon a long time ago but then we lost track of him. He contacted us 2 weeks ago to tell us that he had been reading it, lost it, and wants another one. So we went over and gave him another one and asked him how he felt about the Book of Mormon. He said that he was very impressed and that he felt something when he read it. We then were able to bear testimony to him about the Holy Ghost and the power of the Book of Mormon in gaining a testimony. We set up another appt. with him to share teh Restoration with him which he accepted very easily. He knows that the Book of Mormon is true. He has been a drug addict for a lot of his life but has been trying to change his life. He had a stroke or something and he is only in his mid 30s. His left side is now partially paralyzed and he can't work anymore and is planning on going to school to be a drug addiction counselor. He still needs to quit smoking but he is taking the right steps toward changing his life for real. He told us that he really liked the part of the Book of Mormon about Lehi's vision of the Tree of Life. He told us that when the Dr.s put him into a morphine coma after surgery on his brain, he had a dream similar to that vision. He remembers waking up and saying to the people that were there, "I know what Hell is like. It's a filthy river." He came to Church yesterday also. I'm very excited for him.Today was the 1st day of school for us. I hate when school starts, even on my mission. We can't take any of the Priests out with us during the day anymore.Well I have to get off now. Thanks! I love you all!-Elder Blakemore
