Before I forget, I wanted to tell you about testimony meeting yesterday. The second testimony that was given in our ward was a little girl. I thought it was going to be the typical, "I like to bare my testimony, i know this church is true. I know my family loves me. in the name of jesus christ amen." But she said something that I had NEVER heard before in a testimony meeting. She said, "I like to bare my testimony. I know this Church is true and I know that on Valentine's Day we can show our love to Jesus. In the name of Jesus Christ, amen." I started laughing out loud! Then I started thinking about it. What a better way to celebrate Valentine's Day than what it means to everybody else. I hate valentines Day too... but maybe I can make it mean something if I find a way to show Jesus that I love him like this very wise little girl suggested. Just a thought... :)We set Anthony with a baptism date for Feb. 26th. His wife didn't understand why she would need to change. One of those people that think, "oh, if I'm just a good person, God will save me." Hopefully through his example, she will come to a knowledge of the truth. Anthony is awesome. Our wards are getting really vamped up for missionary work. It is pretty awesome to see everything running how it is supposed to. People inviting their friends, doing their home teaching and finding those part-member families out there. It's going to be great.Oh, btw, I'm not getting transferred and neither is Elder Nunnally. Another six month area for me. I'm going back to District Leader since our DL is going home tomorrow. yay....I still can't sing. Probably because I can't give my voice the rest that it needs right now. It is very frustrating to me because I love to sing. I sing while i'm in the shower, i sing when I'm walking around, I sing when I'm listening to music (appropriate, of course), I sing when I'm biking, I sing in church, I would love to help with ward choir, etc. I can talk normally. It gets a little raspy at the end of the day sometimes, but it sounds good.... except when i try to go high. It sucks.I heard the Packers won the super bowl. Too bad I wasn't able to watch for the good commercials.Well I can't really think of what else to say. I love you guys. God has a plan for each of us. He has spent lifetimes planning for each of our circumstances and how he is going to help us in each case, trial, pitfall, etc that we may go through. I love y'all.-Elder Blakemore
