Annoying things

First of all, I want to thank everybody that voted. I had a long time deciding between China and Germany. I have visited China and I LOVE the people there but on the other hand, I want to go to Europe because there is so much cool, thousands of years old, stuff there. After long deliberation, I decided that I wanted to go to Germany because China would be SO hard and I dont think that the people would be very receptive there since the concept of Christianity would be new to them. I know that I would get more discouraged there than anywhere else. I want to go somewhere that I feel like I am actually making a difference and Germany would be the likelier one in my mind. But I don't think that China will be open by the time i go on my mission anyway. I would LOVE to visit china again but I would rather go on my own, not on a mission. So the winner is GERMANY!!

There you go Tami, your day is fulfilled! Oh yeah, btw Sharon, I do want to learn a foreign language so Scotland is out even though it sounds foreign to most people... So anyway, the "annoyingness."

I was on the bus this morning. Everything was perfectly fine until this group of people got on. They were talking very loudly so I couldn't help but overhear their whole conversation. It started out okay but then it got really funny and it started to make me laugh!! I didn't want the whole bus to know that I was "eavesdropping" (even though there were no eaves anywhere near...). I couldn't concentrate on anything else and I was feeling very self-conscious about having a dumb smile on my face. What if they noticed and got annoyed at me? What would I say then? "I'm sorry, but my life is so boring that I have to get amusement from other people's conversations"? And then I got off the bus FINALLY and saw somebody that I knew and waved at them but they didn't see me. As if I needed anything else to be embarrassed about! "Haha! Who are you waving at, inconsiderate, rude, butterfingers!" (if you didn't get that one, it was referring to dropping construction materials) All I needed was to trip and totally look like an idiot. The worst part of my day was walking to the computer lab extra slow so that I wouldn't fall on my face. *sigh* The sorrows of being self-conscious... At least I can say that I am better at math than any of those people!!! HA! Take that!! Let it sink in and fester and try to be offended!! At least I didn't eat beans last night...

It's always annoying when the high school students hop on the metro. I would rather NOT hear their conversations, but they are always so obnoxiously LOUD! I also hate the school tour groups. They are always SO surprised when the train starts moving, and it never fails that the girls scream. *SIGH* I know that you're not like that. And that's why I like ya. Just don't toot. :)

You just have to hide your amusement better. On Sunday Seth was being punished and he was screaming "I love you Daddy" I had to turn my face and cough a few times to keep from cracking up.
