I have been gone from blogging for many-a-days now lets see what has happened since I last posted. First of all, there is a wonderful girl at my church that most of you will know. Her name is Dana Davidson. I have been dating her for awhile and we went to the "Mormon prom" 2 weeks ago which, if you don't know, is a mimic of the real prom just without the drinking and the dirty dancing and no music more recent than the 80s and bad decorations. Actually the decorations were quite fancy except that it is hard to do much with a church gymnasium. Anyway. Funny thing btw- I was going to ask her and the day that I was going to do it she said with exasperation and I quote, "When are you going to ask me to prom?!" I was very flustered and all I could say was that I was planning on asking her that day. Ha. At least we were both embarrassed. Anyway. So we were planning everything and it got pretty stressful because we were trying to include a lot of people in on our plans. The dumb thing was that nobody else had made ANY plans and they were expecting us to make all the plans but they were very picky when I was deciding what we were going to do. Ex: "I don't like lasagna, lets go somewhere else so that you can all cater to my own picky-ness!!!!!!!!!!!!" Okay, I embellished a little bit at the end but it reminded me of a little story I know about a Mother Hen and something about picking corn for cornbread... but I'm no fable expert.
Plans all made: We were going to come to my house so Mom could fix us salad and breadsticks and, *gasp*, lasagna (which was very yummy btw, Mom). Then we would go to the dance and have a good time and then come home and play some fun games or something. Here's how it REALLY happened. I went to get her bouquet... i mean corsage (it was the biggest thing i've ever seen!! No wonder it kept on falling off her wrist.) which was nonetheless, very beautiful. Then I went to the car wash which was more expensive than i thought it would be. I went to go pick her up and I went inside and... before I go on, I must say that Dana is a very pretty girl anyway, but when i got inside and I saw her, I was... flabbergasted is probably the best way to describe it. She switched dresses on me without telling me! Haha, but that wasn't the point that i was getting at... umm... she was the most beautiful thing that I had ever seen!!!!! Her mom and her neighbor were both laughing at me because I couldn't say anything... maybe because I couldn't stop smiling enough to form any words. Just grinning like an idiot who won the lottery with his prom date. Anyway, in addition to having the most beautiful girl at the dance as my date, it went pretty well. The number of people that were coming for dinner changed about four times ending up with three couples and one solo. Then we all drove to the dance and had a good time... took some cool pictures... did a little dance... didn't make any love... but still got down that night... whatever that means. Afterwards we decided to go to one of the guy's houses to watch a movie which was the only dissapointing thing of the night because the movie was really dumb... at least i thought so. Other people with less picky taste in movies liked it. I cant even remember what it was called. So thats that. I have some pictures but they don't really do her justice, so... idk.
Let's see. What else has happened that is exciting. I started to go to institute yesterday with Sharon. I was one of two people... the other person being Sharon... It wasn't too awkward because the institute teacher is my bishop so s'all good. Hopefully Dana will be nice enough to change her work schedule since she is changing it anyway for samba practice... !!!!!!*hint*!!!!!!
Which brings up another thing. Dance Festival. This year we are doing a dance festival. We are doing a myriad of dances ranging from some HS Musical song (can anybody tell me why HS musical is such a big deal? I've barely even heard of it!) to the disco to the samba which i tried out for last week. The samba is a pretty fun dance, I think. Lots of hip movement that makes me feel cool and stupid at the same time. The disco is fun too. we're doing "the hustle" (do do do do do do do do do do the hustle) and "stayin' alive" (ah ah ah ah, stayin' alive, stayin' alive). We have partners too for the disco and that part is really fun... prolly because it's a break from the usual line dancing. I don't like line dancing. It's uncreative and boring and repetitive, redundant, doing the same thing over and over, etc., etc., etcetera.
School sucks and I'm ready to be out.
My AP Calculus test is on May 7th.
I'm excited to go to St. Louis.
My hands are cramped.
And thats about it. That is all the excitement that has happened in the past two months. Hope you enjoyed it Tami!
Sianara, hasta la vista, auf wiedersehen, goodnight, good luck, goodbye.
P.S. pictures might come depending if I can get them off the camera =Z

Hooray for a new blog post! A couple of times a week I would get my hopes up and then have them immediately crushed when I saw you hadn't updated...
Anyway. Yay for Mormon Prom! I'm sure Dana looked beautiful, and I hope you were able to express that to her later - after you had picked your jaw up off of the ground. :)
Load some pictures when you get the chance. And don't wait so long to update your blog next time!!
P.S. Meet me in Saint Looey, Looey... say around June 20th-ish?
see ya, Bro. WORD.
Did I tell you I never went to any of my proms? Mostly because I hated dancing, and also I didn't have a beautiful girl to take (or at least wanted to go with me) like Dana. One year, I went to a Giants/Dodgers baseball game in San Francisco with Dad and Justin Beckham instead of prom. Much better than some stupid dance.
Thanks for the update, and I am excited for the visitors in June.
I am ready to kick some tail in GHIII, MK Wii, and SSBB.
The rest of us have been waiting for an update we just aren't as vocal as Tami. I am glad that you had a good time at your prom. Mine was really dumb except that we went and played games afterwards and had breakfast over at the Vezzani's house. We need Pictures!!!
We are really excited for St Louis and to have you come back here with us.
What's wrong with 80's music BTW!!!
So, maybe if you can't get the pictures from your camera, Dana can bring hers over. You know we are all waiting to see pictures. I'm sure Dana was the most beautiful girl there: she could run circles around Rosalie Cullen. Does she have a blog? (Dana, I mean) Good luck on that calculus test. You're smarter than I am.
