Matt's a Missionary!

Hello to all of Matt's friends and family! This is Emily, Matt's sister. You will see me posting on Matt's blog over the next 2 years, as he will be on his mission and will not have access to his blog. I just got off the phone with him (last time for 2 years!) and he is so excited to be going in to the MTC today. Just a few more hours! I'm so proud of Matt for making the decision to go. I know he will be an awesome missionary!

For those who do not know, Matt will be in the Missionary Training Center in Provo, UT for the next 3 weeks. After that he will be shipped off to the Nevada, Las Vegas West Mission area. He will be able to read emails that you send to his gmail account, but may not have time to reply to you personally.

This is where I come in! I will update Matt's blog with news that he sends home so all can be connected to what's going on in his life.

So be sure to check back to his blog regularly!

I got to be the last person to talk to him before he went into the MTC. I was literally talking to him as they pulled in the parking lot. I am so excited for his new adventure, and I think it is great that you are keeping his blog updated (hopefully better than he ever did.... :-))
