Speedy Delivery!

I received a 'real' letter from Matt over the weekend with his camera card!  YAY!  I was really excited to browse through his pictures and see the adventures he has talked about in his previous emails.  I'm going to create a slideshow widget on the side of this blog so you can see all his pictures.  The picture here is Matt with Mom & Dad in front of the MTC.  I think it is a really good picture of all 3 of them!

Snippets from Matt's letter:

Last week was pretty much Washington weather.  We had at least one thunderstorm/rainstorm per day last week.  Sometimes more than one in a day.  It was awesome.  It was a reminder of home every day.  Reminders of home aren't bad for me.  In fact, I probably do better when there are a lot of reminders.
We went back to the Egyptian Woman's house.  The husband is normal.  He is really big into hunting and taxidermy though.  He has been on several Africa trips and brought back every kind of African animal you can think of to put on display.. even a giraffe neck.  Haha.
Missionary work is a lot harder than I thought it would be.  There are always a million reasons why people don't or won't come to church and also the same for being baptized.  I wish that they could just trust us.  THEY WANT IT!  Or at least they would if they would exercise a little faith.  This one guy came back to church after years of inactivity because one day he decided that he would try out believing.  He had never actually believed in his life and when he started believing, all of his problems that he had were a lot easier to deal with.  This just happened last week.  We were so amazed when we went to visit him.  He was a completely different person.  No more antagonism, no more unfriendly attitude toward us.  He was so excited to see us because he had an idea for us to help us with missionary work.  The gospel can help people if they would just be willing to try.  I love the gospel.  The scriptures are amazing if you have the patience to try and understand them and the message that they have.  ~ Matt

Today we should be getting another email from Matt.  Exciting!  I'll work on getting the slideshow loaded so everybody can see his pictures.  But for now, enjoy the pics below of his visit to Molossia.  LOVE IT!!
